MAPA Drumat

Drumat

Drumat...

The Drumat by MAPA is a lightweight and convenient alternative to heavy, fraying rugs commonly used by drummers to hold their drumsets in place while playing. Drumat is carefully designed for the working drummer and provides several advantages over conventional rugs.

MAPA Drumat     It is lightweight at four pounds and has a permanent built-in securing strap with locking clasp, and shoulder strap.

It rolls to a 2-foot by 6-inch diameter and unrolls to a 4-foot by 6-foot area with a contour shape for use in corners.

It is constructed from strong polymer fibers that will not fray and features a non-skid backing.

Drumat     It also features a split-hinged design that makes rolling quick and wrinkle-free.

Another advantage of the Drumat is that it protects carpeting from grease stains left behind by bass pedals and high hat stands. Latin percussionists, who are increasingly using bass drums and kick bells, will also find the Drumat useful.

At Summer NAMM, 2000, MAPA introduced its new bass drum anchor accessory that secures the bass drum to MAPA's Drumat.

MAPA Drumat Bass Anchor     The Bass Anchor is made of durable gauge steel with an aggressive industrial strength Velcro type hook bottom that grabs deep into the Drumat to withstand the force of the wildest drummer. The Anchor can be easily removed for quick folding of the Drumat. The lip of the Bass Anchor is padded to protect the rim of the bass drum from scratches.
