"LET'S ROCK" PROGRAM FOR KIDS
The 2112 Rock School “Let's Rock” Program For Kids offers our students and others the chance to practice and perform with an actual band. Students in our drum, guitar, bass, keyboard and voice programs are combined to form bands that rehearse together and have the opportunity to play live, before family and friends, in an actual club environment.
The program runs for 12 weeks, with one and 1/2 hour group rehearsals weekly. The bands will play 2 live shows. The first after 6 weeks and the second after 12 weeks. Bands are grouped based on age, skill level and musical interest. Depending on the number of participants, we will make every effort to place participants in bands that share their particular music interest. Each band will learn 3-4 songs. Songs will be chosen by the members of each band during the first rehearsal. We ask that each participant bring a CD with one or two songs they enjoy and know how to play to the first practice.
Each band will be overseen by adult instructors who have many years of experience working in professional and non-professional band situations. Professional PA, guitar amps, bass amp, keyboard and drumset will be provided. Guitarists and bassists will need to bring their own instruments.
This program is not about learning songs note per note, but more about teaching the participants to work together as a group. Participants will learn the many nuances involved in putting a band together, from naming the band, to song selection, to practice etiquette and much, much more..

Group practice time is GROUP practice time. As such, participants will be required to learn their individual parts on their own time. Participants who take private lessons with a teacher should use their lesson time to learn their parts. Participants who do not take private lessons, and are having trouble learning their parts, should seek assistance from a qualified instructor. Participants who repeatedly arrive at group practice unprepared (two or more times), may be dropped from the group and a replacement brought in. Participants who are repeatedly late or miss group practice, who disrupt or cause other problems within the group may also be replaced. In all such cases there will be NO refund of tuition fees paid.
There is a monthly tuition fee for the 12 week program. Participants are not required to be students at our school.
Enrollment for the next session is now open. See schedule to the right. Call the school today 833-0046 to enroll or for more information on this exciting one-of-a-kind program.
ALL STAR PROGRAM
Outstanding students in our beginner program may be invited to participate in our All Star Program. The All Star Program will allow students to play more challenging music with players who share their skill level and desire to advance. All Star bands will also be offered shows above and beyond the regularly scheduled 2112 Rock School shows.
ACTUAL PARENTAL COMMENT ABOUT THE PROGRAM "Before taking part in the program my son practiced 15 to 20 minutes per day. While participating in the program he practiced 1 to 2 hours every day"

"LET'S ROCK" PROGRAM FOR ADULT GUYS OR GALS
The 2112 Rock School “Let's Rock” Program For Guys is designed for the male musician who hasn't played in a while, but still yearns for the "Rock-n-Roll" experience. This is a great way to get back into playing music without all the hassles of organizing rehearsals and gigs. You’ll be playing with other musicians of similar skill levels. Our program provides the professional gear, the rehearsal space, a coach and even the other members of your band! You'll be gigging in no time.
The 2112 Rock School “Let's Rock” Program For Gals is designed exclusively for the fairer sex. This program offers girls of all ages the chance to network with other girls who share their love of playing music. Like our other programs, participants rehearse together and have the opportunity to play live, before family and friends, in an actual club environment. You'll be playing with other musicians of similar skill levels. As with our other "Let's Rock" programs, we provide the professional gear, the rehearsal space, a coach and even the other members of your band!
The program runs for 4 weeks, with a two hour group rehearsal each week. Bands are grouped based on skill level and musical interest.
Each band will be overseen by a coach who has many years of experience working in professional and non-professional band situations. Professional PA, guitar amps, bass amp, keyboard and drumset will be provided. Guitarists and bassists will need to bring their own instruments.
This program is not about learning songs note per note, but more about re-discovering the fun of making music.
Group practice time is GROUP practice time. As such, participants will be required to learn their individual parts on their own time. There is a one time tuition fee for the 4 week program. Participants are not required to be students at our school. Discounts on tuition are available to our students and to participants who recommend friends who also participate in the program. Tuition payment is due in full at the first practice.
Enrollment for the next session, tentatively set to begin the first week of February, is now open. Call the school today 833-0046 to enroll or for more information on this exciting one-of-a-kind program.
